Hello! My name is Andy Mathews, and I am so excited to be working with the choral program at Bay Park Elementary! I wanted to share a little about myself with you all. I grew up in Franklin, Indiana, which is about 30 minutes south of Indianapolis. I am the oldest of 10 children, and I have been working with children for as long as I can remember. I have a B.A. in Music from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. I have been fortunate enough to sing on stages in Norway, Finland, Sweden, St. Petersburg, Russia, and throughout the United States. Some of my favorite performances have been with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Indianapolis Opera Company, Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, singing on the flight deck of the USS Theodore Roosevelt here in San Diego, and a true dream come true at Carnegie Hall. I have been working with students since 2003 in both private lessons and group settings. I am really looking forward to working with your children, and I hope to pass on my love for music to them.

The schedule will be as follows:

For 2nd – 5th Grades the first 30 minutes will be Homework Club, while the director works with the Kinder/1st grade Choir.

We are looking for parent volunteers to help out with homework club, which will be on the cafeteria side of the auditorium.  If you are interested in being a choir parent volunteer, please note on sign up form below.
